    Pear Berry Smoothie

    Smoothies… A true love of mine. This smoothie recipe is a refreshing, sweet treat for our family. We add a handful of spinach (or some sort of green) to almost every smoothie we make, but aside from that this is mostly a fruit smoothie. Since it has quite a bit of natural sugar from all the fruit, we treat it like dessert. And what a fantastic dessert it is.

    This refreshing fruit smoothie recipe is a good source of fiber, potassium, and vitamins A and C.

    Ingredients

    • 1 whole pear, peeled
    • 1 small banana
    • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
    • 1/4 cup frozen strawberries
    • 1 handful of spinach
    • 1/2 cup water, more or less depending on desired consistency
